Korean-Style CheeseBurger

Ingredients:
1.5 lb. Lean Ground Beef
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Brown Sugar (packed)
¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes (crushed)
¼ tsp Ground Ginger
1 scallion (diced)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
Kimchi
American Cheese
Directions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, add ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, ginger, scallion, and garlic. Stir until combined and marinate in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
- Form the mixture into patty shapes and cook/grill to desired doneness
- Place the patty on a bun and top with a slice of cheese, kimchi (squeeze out any excess moisture if necessary to prevent the bun from getting soggy) and Korean barbecue sauce. Optional: Add a fried egg.
